Manitowoc Submarines Memorial

Following the path that WWII boats made from Manitowoc, Wisconsin to New Orleans, the USS Chicago Base has placed Memorials in Joliet and Morris IL.  The city of Ottawa, the next major downriver town, has selected a location overlooking the path the boats took downriver during WWII and the USS Chicago Base

will be building a memorial there.
