STORYTIME FRIENDS is thrilled to launch our first-ever fundraising campaign!
Founded in 2022, our mission is to bring the joy of storytelling and the power of community to children in hospitals and caregiving facilities through curated programming that includes a read-aloud series, free copies of books, and educational, fun activities. We are proud to have already served thousands of children at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital and several community-based clinics in Oakland. We’ve worked on a 100% volunteer basis, pouring our hearts into this, and now we need financial support to keep growing.
We aim to raise $30,000 by November 5th to continue and expand our impactful programming. Will you join us?
Here’s an example of how we spend your donations:
$40 = purchase two picture books
$200 = stipend for one author visit with the children
$400 = books for one month of programming
$1,000 = complete programming -- with book, author visits, and videos – for one month
