Wild Hearts Connection, offered through Wild Hooves Open Hearts, is designed for teens ages 12-19 who are struggling with feelings of loneliness, social isolation, anxiety, depression, and the pressures of modern life. Whether they are dealing with social media stress, academic challenges, or emotional hurdles, our program offers a unique and empowering experience to help teens reconnect with themselves, others, and nature.

Today’s teens face unprecedented levels of loneliness and social isolation, exacerbated by the pressures of social media, school, and the lasting effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. These challenges can lead to significant mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and difficulty forming meaningful connections with others.

Wild Hearts Connection addresses these issues by providing a safe, supportive space where teens can heal, grow, and develop essential life skills.

At Wild Hearts Connection, we combine the therapeutic presence of previously wild mustangs with Equine Guided Empowerment® and Somatic Reprogramming® techniques. Our program helps teens:

Build Trust and Empathy: Through direct interaction with previously wild mustangs, teens learn the importance of trust, empathy, and non-verbal communication.

Reclaim Self-Acceptance and Authenticity: Somatic Reprogramming® techniques guide participants to align with their true selves, fostering self-acceptance and personal empowerment.

Reduce Stress and Anxiety: The calming presence of the mustangs, combined with grounding activities, helps reduce stress and promote emotional resilience.

Strengthen Social Skills: Teens develop crucial social skills that can be transferred to human relationships, helping them form deeper connections with peers and family.

Foster Family Bonds: Family integration sessions are designed to strengthen communication and mutual support within the family unit, creating a more supportive home environment.

Why Choose Wild Hearts Connection?

Unique Therapeutic Approach: Our program is one of the few that integrates wild mustangs with certified Equine Guided Empowerment® and Somatic Reprogramming® techniques.

Expert Facilitation: Led by experienced and certified facilitators, our sessions are designed to create lasting change and growth.

A Safe, Nurturing Environment: We provide a peaceful, natural setting where teens can disconnect from daily pressures and reconnect with their inner selves.

TESTIMONIALS:

Going to the grounding workshop with Chance and Sampson was just what I needed during a stressful exam season. Spending time with them helped me find a sense of calm that I didn’t even know I was missing. The grounding techniques and understanding boundaries with the horses have stuck with me, becoming something, I rely on daily. Now, when stress starts to creep in, I can center myself and face it with a clear head. I’m so thankful for the experience—it’s made a real difference in how I handle life’s challenges.
