GEANCO saves and transforms lives in Africa. Through our David Oyelowo Leadership Scholarship for Girls, we provide tuition, healthcare, leadership training, and social & emotional support to young female victims of terrorism and gender inequality in Nigeria.


We deem each and every girl in Nigeria to be of incalculable value, and our special scholarship is dedicated to their success and wellbeing.  


We identify girls in the most challenging social circumstances who nevertheless have the spark of intelligence, verve, and leadership that need only be kindled in order to fully ignite.  We nurture these girls over six years of schooling as they grow into Nigeria's - and the world's - future leaders and changemakers.
