2024-2025 Annual Fund Campaign

Women's Health. Maternal Health. Family Wellbeing.

    WELCOME!

As we embark on our second Annual Fund Campaign, we invite you to join us in continuing PUSH's mission to improve maternal health experiences and outcomes through trusted partnerships and comprehensive support systems. As the need for our programs and services continues to grow, so do the operational expenses required to sustain them. Your individual contributions are more important than ever in helping us to successfully expand.

With your support, we can maintain and grow our innovative approach to maternal wellness, ensuring that all moms, regardless of ZIP code, have access to quality care and resources. Together, we can work towards our vision of a healthy birth experience for every woman, every child, and every family.

Contributions to the Annual Fund enable us to:

Respond promptly to moms and moms-to-be who reach out for help and guidance.

Provide care management and coordination for birthing families, ensuring they receive the support they need throughout their journey.

Connect clients with certified Community Health Workers (CHWs), Community Doulas (CDs), and birth professionals for personalized care and assistance.

Create healthy environments for moms and babies to thrive by working closely with families.

Invest in necessary technology and equipment to communicate effectively and follow up with clients.

Develop evidence-based resources to inform and better prepare individuals and families for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum challenges.

Increase access to maternal health workers, like doulas, for economically disadvantaged families.

Collaborate with medical providers and facilities through two-way training initiatives, fostering a holistic approach to maternal care.

Host peer-to-peer support groups for families, including maternal mental health services, helping mothers connect with others who understand their challenges.

Lighten the burden on healthcare providers by offering continuum of care support, reducing strain on doctors, nurses, and the healthcare system.

Expand and retain our CHW and CD workforce, allowing us to reach more families before, during, and after pregnancy.

And much more! Your contribution directly impacts the lives of moms, babies, and families, providing them with the resources and support they need for a healthy and thriving birth experience.

Thank you for your support in helping us make a difference in maternal health. Together, we can ensure that every mom, every child, and every family have the opportunity for a healthy and thriving birth experience.

WHY WE PUSH:

Pregnancy should be a time of joy, but for far too many women, it becomes a struggle for survival. In the United States, maternal mortality remains a critical issue, with far too many mothers dying each year due to pregnancy-related complications. An additional 65,000+ women experience life-threatening postpartum complications annually. Women of color (e.g., Black/African American, Asian American, Native American, Pacific Islander American, multiracial American, Latino American, etc.), in particular, face a disproportionately high risk of adverse outcomes, regardless of their socioeconomic status.

These pregnancy-related deaths can occur during pregnancy, delivery, or up to a year afterward—and the heartbreaking reality is that over 80% of them are preventable. In states like Texas, where maternal health disparities are even more pronounced, the preventable rate rises to 90% (Maternal Mortality and Morbidity Review Committee and Department of State Health Services Joint Biennial Report).

We PUSH to change these statistics and ensure that no family has to endure preventable loss or suffering. Together, we can create a future where every mom, every child, and every family have the opportunity to experience a safe and healthy pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period.

YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS:

Thank you for your ongoing support in helping us make a difference in maternal health. Together, we can push forward toward a healthier future for all families.
