City of Orange Special Event Sponsorship Program

At the June 25th Orange City Council meeting, the Orange City Council voted to cancel all City of Orange sponsored events effective after the 2024 3rd of July Celebration, unless a non-profit organization committed to sponsoring an event in its entirety or was interested in taking over the event. In true Orange fashion, many have come forward, inquiring about how they can support the events that make our city so great.  Read on to find out how you can be a part of the efforts to continue these events!


Realizing that there are many community members who would like to simply make a donation in support of an event the Community Foundation of Orange will be the non-profit steward of these funds, allowing our residents to make a tax-deductible contribution to offset associated event costs.


Donations can be made online and a preference can be designated for any event, a combination of events, or made to a general fund to support events that may fall short in funding.


If you prefer to send a check, it should be made payable to Community Foundation of Orange. The Community Foundation of Orange is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. Tax ID 33-0890035.  Our mailing address is 1940 N. Tustin St, Suite 106, Orange CA 92865
