Leave No Trace Level Two Instructor Course
Join us for the upcoming Leave No Trace Level Two Instructor Course, hosted by Wild Alabama and Landmark Learning, from December 2-5, 2024, at the beautiful Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville, Alabama. This comprehensive course is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, educators, and professionals eager to deepen their understanding of Leave No Trace principles and earn the respected title of Leave No Trace Level Two Instructor. The course location is fully wheelchair accessible and includes access to a full kitchen, ensuring a comfortable and inclusive environment for all participants.
Participants are responsible for arranging their own lodging, with options including cabins and camping within Monte Sano State Park, as well as a variety of hotels and Airbnbs in nearby Huntsville. For those traveling by air, Huntsville International Airport (HSV) is just a 25-minute drive from the park, making it easily accessible.
Huntsville, famously known as the "Rocket City" and home to NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, offers an array of attractions. We encourage participants to consider staying a few extra days to explore the rich history, cultural sites, and natural beauty of North Alabama.
