Each year, over 65,000 animals are euthanized in Houston shelters due to overcrowding. These aren’t just numbers—they’re lives lost, potential cut short. At Three Little Pitties Rescue, we’re determined to change this story, but we can’t do it alone.

Since 2018, we’ve rescued over 15,000 animals from neglect, overcrowded shelters, and the streets. But our fight doesn’t stop at rescue. Many of these animals, especially large power breeds, struggle to find foster homes locally, leaving boarding space as their only hope for survival.

This Giving Tuesday, we have a mission: to raise $50,000 to build a new shelter space—creating a safe haven for 600 more dogs over the next five years. This building will not only give warmth, safety, and care to the animals who need us the most but will also save us $273,750 in external boarding costs, allowing us to direct those funds toward more life-saving rescues.

Official Rules:

Eligibility:
The Giveaway ("Promotion") is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (including the District of Columbia) who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry. 

Promotion Period:
The Promotion begins at 12:00 PM (ET) on Friday November 29, 2024, and ends at 11:59 PM (ET) on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. Entries received after this period will not be eligible.

To enter online, follow the instructions above. While no purchase or donation is required to enter for grand prize, donations to support Three Little Pitties Rescue during Giving Tuesday are encouraged.

Entries must be postmarked by December 3, 2024, and received by December 5, 2024. Each mail entry must be separate. You may submit one entry per day in person or by mail during the eligible time frame.

Selection of Winner:
One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The winner will be notified via the contact information provided at the time of entry and will be announced within the original giveaway post the week following the end of the entry period.

Prize Claim:
Winners must comply with all terms and conditions of these official rules. Prizes are non-transferable. Winner is responsible for all taxes and fees associated with the receipt or use of the prize.

General Terms & Conditions:
By participating in the Promotion, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Three Little Pitties Rescue, the sponsor, and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, suppliers, distributors, advertising agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents ("Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, or causes of action arising out of participation in the Promotion or receipt, use, or misuse of any prize. The sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion, or any part of it, if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond the sponsor’s control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion, as determined by the sponsor in its sole discretion.

Tax Responsibilities:
Winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, and any other fees or costs associated with the prize.

Limitation of Liability:
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all liability for injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Promotion, or the use, receipt, or misuse of the prize.

Void Where Prohibited:
The Promotion is void where prohibited by law.

Please consult your tax advisor for details. You may choose to decline the thank-you gift to ensure your full donation is tax-deductible. Your tax-deductible amount will be reduced by the value of any gift received.
