Get to know Ditya!

“Hi, I’m Ditya. College is a new, exciting experience for me! My plan is to complete my major in Computer Science with a minor in pre-law. I believe this combination will help me be a cybersecurity professional who understands the legal implications in cybersecurity and software development. While I may not have a long list of prestigious awards, what I do have is a passion for working hard to achieve my goals, no matter how difficult that may be. I’m also quite disciplined! I have performed well in high school (top 15% of class), while serving as treasurer for our theatre company, drum major for our marching band, and section leader for our Honor Winds band. I have my 3rd degree black belt and love all forms of exercise. Looking ahead, while I see myself working full time in cybersecurity. I also hope to host basic karate classes or tutor younger kids in my free time during the weekdays or on the weekends and help my neighbors if they need dog sitting. These are all things I enjoy and want to carry with me into my adult years."

“Though I may not have as many or as highly prestigious awards as other students entering college, I am a hard worker and have done well in high school. I’m also passionate about cybersecurity. I’m the type of person who will continue pursuing this passion no matter how difficult it may get.”
