(Water) Seldom Seen-Sawmill Run Cleanup 1-31
Join ACW and Watersheds of South Pittsburgh for the Seldom Seen/ Sawmill Run Cleanup! We will be leading a walk along Sawmill Run to clean up debris washing down the creek at the Seldom Seen Greenway. This event will be focused along the shore and in the creek so prepare to get your feet a little wet. We recommend wearing warm clothes and waterproof boots so that you can pick up debris in approximately 3-6 inch deep water. It will be cold and possibly raining the day of the event so please dress appropriately for a winter cleanup!
-We will be supplying trash grabbers, gloves and bags.
-Please wear appropriate waterproof boots and be prepared for cold and/or rainy weather.
-This will be a rain or shine event. If the day's predicted temperature is below 20 degrees F, the event will be cancelled due to cold temps. Keep an eye out for an update email the day before if the weather is predicted to be very cold.
-We will meet at 10 AM at the small parking lot at the trailhead of the Seldom Seen Greenway.
