Winter Reflections- Meditation and Writing Circle
A Writing Space for Belonging
As winter settles around us, it invites opportunities for deep reflection, rest, and preparation. Join us for Winter Reflections: A Meditation and Writing Circle Inspired by Audre Lorde, a sacred space dedicated to Black trans and queer individuals to exist, breathe, and create.
** This is a virtual event
When: Sunday, January 26, 2025, at 11 am PST/2 pm EST
Drawing on Audre Lorde's wisdom, we’ll explore the transformative power of rest as resistance and survival as an act of self-love. This session will begin with a grounding meditation and a celebration of Audre Lorde’s life and words. Together, we’ll reflect on what it means to embrace stillness and prepare for the seasons ahead.
Guiding reflective questions:
- What does rest mean to you in this season of your life?
- How can rest help you prepare for what’s to come?
- In what ways can rest be an act of resistance and survival?
This is a space for healing, connection, and creativity. Come as you are, and leave with a renewed sense of clarity and care.
