25th Anniversary Volunteer Celebration
Join us for an evening of celebration as we mark 25 years of Allegheny CleanWays!
In honor of our volunteers and our milestone 25th anniversary year, we’re hosting a special speakeasy-style volunteer appreciation event at Lo Places (formerly Take a Break Too) in McKees Rocks, and we’d love for you to be there to help us celebrate. This event will be an evening of food, drinks, games, and recognition—designed to honor the dedication and hard work of our incredible volunteers. Space is limited! Reserve your spot today.
We're excited to offer:
Food & Drink in a Speakeasy-Inspired Vibe: Come enjoy a cozy atmosphere, complete with delicious food, drinks (wine, beer, and a cocktail). Attendees are also welcome to BYOB.
Silkscreening Station: Bring a piece of thrifted clothing or anything you’d like to customize with our Allegheny CleanWays Volunteer design. Show your ACW pride as you wear it to future cleanups or just about town.
Trash Trivia: Test your knowledge of Allegheny CleanWays and trash in our Trash Trivia game!
Award Ceremony: We’ll recognize the Volunteer of the Year (Katherine Crawford), Community Partner of the Year (Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy), and our very first Steward for Tomorrow (Alex Kirkpatrick)!

Parking: Please park in the back parking lot located at 16 Gillen Alley, McKees Rocks, PA 15136. From there, enter through the marked side entrance via the alley—the front door will be locked.
