Shelters in Houston and Corpus Christi are asking for books for kids. Books? It may not seem to be the most immediate need, but it is an important one. You can put into the hands of children and their parents Books of Courage and Faith. These books will not only give kids something to read while they wait, it will give the whole family a promise of hope and God's presence with them in this difficult situation.

Schools in the path of Hurricane Harvey have sustained significant damage and some Catholic schools have lost entire libraries which will need to be replaced. We Daughters of St. Paul are close friends with some of these parishes and schools and know how valuable their mission has been for so many. Many of their parishioners will have lost everything themselves. You can make a difference in the lives of hundreds of children by providing the children in these schools with new quality Catholic books.

We have already been in contact with the dioceses of Galveston-Houston and Corpus Christi. As soon as we receive a list of schools in need of books for classrooms and libraries we will post them here.

We invite you to donate to Books of Courage and Faith or Become a Fundraiser. Create a page to fundraise for Books of Courage and Faith, then share it on your own social media with family and friends and followers.

God bless you,

Sr. Andrew, FSP and Sr. Putri Magdalena, FSP
