RUN 4 Hope- Omaha, Nebraska

We're only away from our goal.

Thomas Pargett and Dillon Doeden have come together to make some noise for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. For those that don’t know, Duchenne is a terminal diagnosis that has claimed the life of every child to receive the diagnosis. It causes the continual breakdown of every muscle in the body. Dillon’s son Connor received the diagnosis at 2 years old. He is now 6 and living life to the max every day.

- Join us on Saturday October 26th as we accumulate miles for the benefit of muscles. Dillon and Thomas will be rucking 5 laps around Wehrspann Lake (Chalco Hills Recreation Area) to raise funding for clinical research through JAR of Hope.

- You can support this mission through giving (QR code below) or by joining us on our march to raise further awareness for Duchenne. 

 

More details: Location -> Chalco Hills State Recreation Area (“The Hill” parking lot on the east side of the dam).

Time -> march begins at 6:30 a.m.

Ruck / Walk / Laps -> the decision to ruck with weight or walk without weight is entirely yours, as is the amount of laps around the lake you’d like to complete. One full lap equals 5.70 miles. The maximum laps the group will be completing is 5.
