Help cleanup trash that will translate into more trees to plant
Third Quarter Adopt A Highway Cleanup
Rescheduled 2nd Quarter
Where: Cape Fear Catamarans
2102 US-421, Wilmington, NC 28401
When: October 26th, 10am - 12pm
Volunteers are encouraged to drop by any time during the cleanup.
All of the cleanup supplies (Gloves, safety vests, and bags) will be provided by the
North Carolina Department of Transportation.
Plastic Ocean Project will provider grabbers to pick up trash.
*Volunteers are asked to wear closed toed shoes, pants, and to bring a reusable water bottle*
Before the cleanup all participants are required to view this short safety video from the NCDOT:

If you are between the ages of 12 and 17, a parent/guardian will need to fill our the NCDOT form. This form needs to be provided the day of the cleanup!
Please note: No one UNDER the age of 12 is permitted to pick up litter on our roads.

End time of cleanup is dependent on weather and volume of trash collected.
