Over 100 people were killed and more reported missing from August 2017's torrential rains which triggered floods and landslides across southern Nepal.
The rains hit hard Friday August 11th and are still coming down, and with it, Cholera and other water borne diseases.
In the wake of Climate Change, these disasters are expected to be the new normal.
More than just prepare for harsh weather; we're quite sure it's time for systemic change--engendering citizens in rural villages, businesses and policy makers alike.
Therefore, while 95% of donations to this campaign will support critical needs of flood victims through locally led, "YOUTH RISING MOVEMENT" and the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund, our team on the ground is looking ahead, devoting the next Opportunity Nepal Collaboration Forum to cross sector solutions.
