Oregon Winter Mtg 2025 - Mt Angel, January 3-5
It is an honor to be a Knight!
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
Oregon Jurisdiction Mid-Year Meeting
Jan 3-5, 2025
STATE DEPUTY GREETINGS
Worthy Brother Knights,
I hope that the 2024-2025 Fraternal Year has been off to a great start for you and your councils. At the State level, things have really taken off so far. I am very proud of all the Brother Knights here in this State of Oregon. Let us continue to keep the momentum of growing our Order in Faith and membership. I am delighted to announce that the 2025 Oregon Jurisdiction Mid-Year Meeting for the 2024-2025 Fraternal Year (the Winter Meeting) will be at St Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Angel, OR.
Mt. Angel is a very beautiful town with lots of Catholic elements. It is the home of the Mt. Angel Abbey where our seminarians study. The seminary is such a beautiful place. The Fr. Bernard Youth Center also welcomes many retreatants for various occasions. The small town is always bustling during mid-September during their annual Octoberfest. Let us enjoy this town rich with Catholicism and history as we renew our energy to be true Knights, men of God, men of Faith.
The Mid-Year Meeting is an important meeting for all invitees to attend as we recap on our yearly goals, programs, incentives, and membership growth and we assess our current progress and get re-aligned with our goal for the rest of the Fraternal Year. We share new ideas, strategies, assess what has been working and what needs adjustment, and get another wave of energy to finish the rest of the Fraternal Year strong. I still come home from every Summer and Winter Meeting with new energy and ideas to help promote the Knights of Columbus. It is also an opportunity to see our Brothers from around the State and enjoy some fellowship with one another and grow closer to one another.
State Officers, State Directors, and District Deputies are required to attend. District Wardens, State Chairmen, Grand Knights, and Financial Secretaries are also invited and encouraged to attend. There will be activities for ladies as well during the weekend. All business sessions will be at St. Mary, 575 E College St, Mt. Angel, OR 97362. Lodgings will be at the Oregon Garden Resort in Silverton. 895 W Main St, Silverton, OR 97381 come later.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone there and am excited for a successful Winter Meeting!
Vivat Jesus!
