About Room and Board at Camp Christian:
Since 1941 Camp Christian has been exalting Christ in the Laurel Mountains of western Pennsylvania. Commonly known as ‘A Place Set Apart,’ in recent years its come to be recognized as place where excellence and service come together to draw her camper closer to the Lord. We strive to create an environment where the camper, regardless of age, is best prepared to receive the message the Lord has prepared for them.
The Mill House is the main building at Camp Christian. It has twelve rooms to provide housing for our guests, as well as the dining hall. Depending on the size and their needs, groups may meeting in the dining hall or use our Chapel. The Chapel can accommodate up to 200. It’s set up with flat screen TVs and a new sound system to make the camper experience more enjoyable. We also have 2 dorms. Each dorm can house up to 50 campers, but the normal configuration sleeps 34 each. However, for some (adult) groups, we may spread the campers out to allow for individual space. Food service is something we take very seriously at Camp Christian. Menu options are selected based on the individual group. Younger campers may enjoy chicken nuggets or hot dogs, while a family camp may enjoy pizza, tacos or hamburgers. Adult groups love our special entrees like our chicken marsala, chicken parmesan, pot roast or a number of other options. Regardless of age, our final breakfast always includes thick slices bacon and our fresh baked cinnamon rolls.
