Leap for Khotang is fundraising to bring the first (CLEC) Collaborative Learning
Environment Center to the Kepilasgadhi Rural Municipality of Khotang.
Leaping Forward: Empowering Khotang's Youth through Education
Kepilasgadhi Rural Municipality in Khotang faces significant educational challenges due to its remote location, limited resources, and dependence on traditional farming. This contribute to poverty and youth migration from the community. As a result, more than 1700 children remain out of school. Investment in technology, learning environment, and teacher training is essential to equip local youth with skills for a brighter future.
Dinesh Sunar, known globally as “Parkour Dinesh,” is a celebrated athlete with 20 Guinness World Records. His journey from training on construction sites in Khotang to international acclaim exemplifies resilience and the pursuit of bold dreams. Now, he is returning to his home district to inspire the next generation to overcome challenges and pursue their ambitions. Know More about Dinesh!

Digital Bridges 4 Nepal (DB4N), a U.S.-based non-profit, is dedicated to “Strengthening Communities Through Education.” The organization creates Collaborative Learning Environment Centers (CLECs), which combine modern technology, collaborative learning spaces, and teacher training to transform secondary school education (grades 9 to 12) in remote Nepali communities. Our innovative model fosters peer-to-peer learning, teamwork, and problem solving. By transforming local education we open a world of opportunity for youth to find success in their home community.
Please help us to create and sustain these CLECs—community-centered hubs where students, educators, and adult learners can learn, innovate, and grow together. Training and modern technology empower teachers to provide student-centered, tech-driven learning so they can help their students develop modern skills.
