Year End Appeal 2024
Thank you for helping us continue to make an impact
This was an outstanding year of development and growth for SFBBO. When we rewrote our Mission Statement and completed our Strategic Plan last year, we also committed to taking a closer look at how we measure the impact of our work. Below is some of the feedback we've received from people involved in our work.
The connection that all the teachers, volunteers, and scientists make with the students was heartwarming. They took a genuine interest in the student’s curiosity and fostered that enthusiasm. - Minette Barrios, 6th Grade Teacher at Franklin Elementary.
We trust SFBBO to implement this program because we have worked closely with them for over 15 years to lead and implement management actions, perform monitoring, conduct studies, and provide information that we need to plan and conduct our recovery efforts. They are committed, ethical, efficient, and talented professionals, and I cannot voice strongly enough how critical their work is for our Project. - Dave Halsing, South Bay Salt Pond Restoration Project.
I think that one of the most valuable aspects of what the Coyote Creek Field Station does is in recruiting and training the next generation of bird conservationists. - Allison Connor, long-term CCFS volunteer.
We are committed to expanding our efforts to be an even stronger voice and advocate for the conservation of birds and their habitats, and for developing a greater love and respect for them through our educational and outreach programs. We hope you can make a gift now through Dec. 31st to help us continue this critical work.
