Every year, HeartBright chooses patients in our program to receive  holiday food box for their family.  The patients are chosen because they have worked hard throughout the year to improve their health by visiting our doctors, attending our health education classes, participating in our exercise programs, and being an example to others of taking control of their health.  These patients have lowered their blood pressure, cholesterol and are managing their diabetes.

These patients often cannot afford the luxury of feeding their family a holiday dinner, so we reach out to help as many families as we can.  Our volunteers shop a few days before the holidays to buy all the fixings that are needed to buy a dinner for a family of 4.  We try our best to buy the healthier options when available.  Then we distribute these boxes to the families in need.

Please consider sponsoring at least one family (for $30), or more if you are able.  Any amount that you can give, even as little as $5 is helpful and appreciated.
