In 2016, Covenant spent over $1.6 million on primary medical, dental and behavioral health care for 4000 patients without insurance. While our uninsured patients paid $400,000 of the cost through our sliding-fee payment scale, we relied directly donations from individuals to fill the gap.
Covenant covers the cost of care for one patient over the course of a year for $300. As we face an uncertain future related to federal funding for the health center program as well as the aspects of the Affordable Care Act, now more than ever we need financial support from people, churches, and companies who are moved by our mission to show and share the love of God as seen in the good news of Jesus Christ through integrated, affordable, and quality healthcare to those who need it most. The uninsured are some of those that truly "need it most" and for just $25/month or a one-time gift of $300, you can step up to the Challenge and help us grow our ability to provide for the needs of Detroiters.
Help us raise funds to care for 100!
