It's that time! Spurs is set to welcome the pledge class of 2018 and we need you to help us reach our goals. Last year we raised over $24,000 to help fund our endowment for scholarships. We are aiming for $10,000 this year, so do your part!
On the line: epic bragging rights. We wish we could front a $42,000 gift card to Dave and Busters, but you'll just have to do it for fun...and there is a little something in it for the top pledge classes in each category.
We are getting close to being able to award two grants annually to deserving Spurs, so donate, spread the word and let's do this.
Final 2018 Bid Day Campaign Wrapup February 05, 2018
Thank you so much for your support of Spurs Sorority Foundation with your generosity this past week. We raised $7,713.99 on the week on gifts from 82 people. Although we came up short of our goal, it was our fourth highest Bid Day campaign in our eight years of it. So thank you!
For the pledge class competitions, the pledge class with the highest rate of participation was PC 2005, with 13 different contributors for $555.22. They were followed by PC 1993 and PC 2006, with 9 each.
In the total dollars competition, PC 1993 was first with $2,393.30, followed by 1976 with $1,100 and PC 1994 with $579.
Thank you all so much for your generosity. All of these funds will go into our endowment to help fund grants. We will award our 6th grant to Trinity next month, who will then select the Spur active with the most demonstrated financial need who has a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Since the two emails I sent this weekend were an epic fail, if you missed it, here is the info on PC 2018
Much Spur Love,
