PUT THE AWESÖME IN 2018!

Help us make AOC more awesome—donate by December 31, 2017!

A spontaneous musical experiment of just fifty musicians in 2013 gave rise to what is now a nearly five year-old group of 2,500 musicians and listeners today. This musical experiment turned into regular drop-in reading sessions in fun and accessible places around the bay. We’ve had 54 of these Open Sessions to date! We’ve been thrilled to play music never heard before, written by emerging composers. We’ve played 50 premiers to-date! We’ve also had the honor of people calling on us to do special events, and we’ve shared the stage with musical greats such as Sly and the Family Stone and Green Day!


Now, Awesöme Orchestra Collective is bigger than ever and we have huge plans for 2018! And we need your help to make them happen.


First, we want to keep doing what we’ve always done, but do it even better. Our plans for our 2018 include commissioning and playing more pieces written by local underrepresented groups, building a stronger, well-trained staff to stay committed to excellence, and throwing a kick-ass anniversary party for you!


Our Drive for Awesome is running through December 31st, 2018, which means you still have time to make the arts happen! Please give generously to keep Aweöme Orchestra and the Bay Area arts community strong!
