We were donated 117 Hectares which is almost 300 acres, in Parrita, Puntarenas in Costa Rica in April of 2016 to be used for Reforestation and to release rescued wildlife on it.
To help the wildlife, consisting of some squirrel and white-faced monkeys as well as three-toed sloths, we plan to plant a mix of native fruit trees, some of the species that will be planted are:
Cacao, Manzana de Agua, Roble Cebo, Ron Ron, Pilon, Muneca, Lorita, Sota Caballo, Caoba, Hule, Aguacatillo and Laurel Negro.
We grow our trees as saplings in a nursery, from 6 months to 1 1/2 years and then they are planted in our rainforest. The trees will be raised for a minimum of 20 years and most will be there forever.
