Human & Animal Nutrition Program
Promote Health, Prevent Disease

About the Campaign
We established "Kid's-Cafe" which provides 50 lunches a week to impoverished children in the rural remote town of San Pedro, Ometepe, Nicaragua. The meals include an animal protein source, locally grown vegetables and milk. The kid's community meal is prepared by the families it serves. We are able to provide 200 meals for about $120/month. We also include toothpaste and tooth brushes for about $25 a month. Books and sport equipment about $20 per month
In Uganda, we established "Two-Eggs-a-Day?" program which provides valuable nutrition to the children at Tender Mercies Orphanage in Kayunga District, Uganda. For $500/month we can provide two eggs a day, every day for 80 vulnerable children at Tender Mercies Home for Children. We are hoping to expand this program to weekly superfoods like liver and meats.

Animal source foods (eggs, liver, meat, milk, cheese) provide high quality complete protein, essential fatty acids, Vitamin B-12, iron, zinc, and many other micronutrients/vitamin in the most bioavailable form for human digestion which is essential to proper child development

$25 per Month helps pay for toothbrushes and tooth paste given to the children during meal time.

Nutritious protein rich meals $150
$150 per month pays for 400 nutritious and protein rich meals per month.

Books, Soccer Ball, Kid's activities $100
$100 per year buys books, sport items, and other activities for children before and after meals.
