On March 1st, International Wheelchair Day, we kicked off a $25k campaign to build a wheelchair ramp that will wrap around our new Maker Library.
The ramp is critical for the many folks in town who have suffered spinal cord injuries, and reside in town as part of a local spinal cord Injury treatment center. So far, we have raised $2k to get this moving, but we need your help.
This project needs to happen fast so that we can begin offering DJ classes to local youth to be taught by Kenny, who is one of the spinal cord patients. Kenny’s passion is music and mixing it up. He hopes to give back to his community using his skills and talent.
