Help Massachusetts Animals in Need!
Our work is never done.
Every day across Massachusetts animal control officers encounter stray animals that require veterinary care. Funds are available to every city and town to help defray these costs. An emergency or disaster can strike at any time and both humans and their animal companions can be affected. The Emergency & Disaster Program funds education and materials for first responders so they are equipped to provide life-saving care.
Here's how you can help:
$25: Provide fluids for a pet in the ER
$50: Provide a dose of antibiotics for a sick pet
$100: Provide comprehensive lab work to diagnose and treat a sick animal
$200: Provide overnight hospitalization and nursing care
$300: Provide specialized treatment such as dermatology care for extreme matting and skin infections
$500: Provide dental care such as surgery or tooth extraction for a pet with dental disease
$1,000: Provide life-saving emergency surgery such as an amputation, eye surgery, or reproductive treatment
Peace and love for stray animals and peace of mind for you.
