2018 Supplies sent through GHRSP
The Emory University School of Medicine (SOM) Emory Global Health Residency Scholars Program (GHRSP), established in 2012, includes a year-long curriculum (consisting of monthly lectures, seminars, and discussions) and a one month clinical rotation in Ethiopia.
MTG is grateful that docs participating in this program carry supplies to Ethiopia for our students. Our volunteer docs carry 50 pounds of supplies on their journies, that are picked up by one of our house managers in Addis Ababa and then a delivered to a designated house.
A new pair of jeans in Ethiopia retails for 40 dollars or more. We can send 50 pounds of clothing for under the cost of one pair of jeans, outfitting an entire house of students with pants, shirts, jackets, shoes, underclothing and school supplies. We can send needed medications that are unavailable in Ethiopia.
Please consider a financial donation to purchase supplies that are needed yet not donated.
