Denver, Colorado, November 10, 2018 – The Financial

recognized with an award from Consumers United Association on Wednesday,
November 10 for providing excellent financial education programs for students,
adults and organizations.

The Financial Education and Economic

of Aurora was
recognized for the Financial Education
and Asset Development Program (FEAD) and the Wealth and Asset Management
Program (WAM).
The FEAD program provides in-depth financial
education to high school students in several Aurora Public Schools
online and through an after-school club.
The WAM program provides in-depth
wealth and asset management education online to individuals and organizations
for investing and wealth creation.

The FEET Center is one of several Colorado nonprofits receiving
recognition from Consumers United Association.
The organization received the Right
on the Money Award
and a cash award of $3,000 for the programs.

Consumers United Association created the Right on the Money award in order to
recognize organizations, schools and individuals which are offering unique,
high-impact financial education programs serving niche populations.  The three winning organizations were selected
from many nominations received.  “The FEET Center
is offering high school students something a chance to change their lives
before they ever even get started.  Their
financial education program offers incentives for participants and it has a
long-term impact,” says Renée Beauregard, Executive Director for Consumers
United Association.

Consumers United Association is a nonprofit consumer
membership association with a mission to improve the financial lives of Colorado consumers
through financial education and advocacy.
The Right on the Money award
is a means by which the organization can help to foster the best financial
education programs in the community.
