WHAT is an edventure race?

An adventure style race with educational components that creates a family/team event bringing strategy, technology and fun into a wellness promoting fundraiser for a great cause! Teams of up to 5 working collaboratively to solve clues on the “#173Strong Edventure Passport” completing challenges at undisclosed locations. It could be a 5K event, it could be 10K event….the distance depends on your team accurately solving the passport! Social media will be a requirement of completing your passport, so be sure to recruit wisely or study up on Twitter!

There is no sign-up fee and signing up as a school/team is 100% risk free!  Simply click the "Become a Fundraiser" button above to register yourself.  The registration process will create shareable links for sharing via email and for multiple social media channels.

REGISTRATION INFO:

$30: Pay $30 or receive $30 in donations on your customized fundraising page you will receive further event registration via email. Each participant will also receive an official event t-shirt. The online donation campaign window closes at noon on October 27th, so for you to be eligible you have to have the minimum donation in your account by then.  

$200: One registration to the KAHPERD Fall or Summer Conference.  (**Or you/your team can donate to the KAHPERD conference scholarship to help support other teachers in the state).

Over $400: Once your donation page is above $400.00 in donations, we will request tax documentation for your school or district because for every dollar above $400.00, your school will receive 75% back.  KAHPERD recommends your fundraising page set a goal for the purpose of this fundraising event. Determine your goal amount based off your schools needs and be sure to advertise that in your promotions for requesting donations.  Be specific such as we are wanting a school climbing wall for gymnasium, playground makeover, recess or physical education equipment, etc.
