Addressing the Root Issues of Poverty One Resource at a Time
Tuesday - October 9, 2018 - 6:00pm - Shady Maple Banquet Center
Ruby K. Payne, Ph.D. defines poverty as "the extent to which an individual does without resources." This is year three of our six-year-plan to address the root issues of poverty through the six areas of resource development: intellectual, emotional, physical, relational, financial, and spiritual. Our community has the resources and Cultivating Communities will give us the tools and knowledge to create long-lasting community health and sustainable growth!
This year we are focusing on developing the physical resource and addressing the issue of homelessness in Lancaster County. We are excited to hear from individuals and organizations in our community creatively collaborating to solve the issue of homelessness.
