Bedouin Kids Camp
Teaching the next generation about the Love of God
When an impoverished Bedouin tribe asks for our help to educate their children while their kids are on summer break, what do we do? We rejoice that the Lord has given us a follow-up opportunity to share His Love (for the second time) with these precious people.
August 27-30 Mission Discipleship is hosting a four day summer camp as a follow-up to our ground breaking Gospel outreach eye-clinic in July. During the July eye-clinic our incredible outreach team told Bible based stories, shared music, prophecy, testimony and prayer with the tribe, as we distributed eye-glasses to this impoverished tribe in the southern Negev desert in Israel.
The elders of the tribe told us that we brought "life" to their village and they're welcoming us back with open arms.
For the Kids Camp we'll be bringing in a team of story tellers, musicians, and people to do arts & crafts and games with the kids. Each of the four days of the camp will be themed around one of the attributes of God's Love as found in 1 Corinthians 13:
Day 1: Patience
Day 2: Kindness
Day 3: Not being Jealous
Our outreach team will be camping at a national park near the tribe. During our time together we'll hold the Kids Camp in the mornings and in the afternoons and evenings our team will be receiving training about reaching Muslims with the Gospel and Discipleship. It's going to be a full and anointed time together!
Be part of our outreach/training!
No gift is too small!
