Spark Day SF

Spark Day SF will happen at MLK Middle School in San Francisco on September 29th. This day is all about engaging our youth and encouraging them to consider a future in technology.

During this full-day event, nearly 150 under-resourced, at-promise youth will meet software engineers, designers, and other leaders in tech, learn about coding through hands on workshops, and be encouraged to continue learning.

Each child will walk away with a laptop computer that they can use to continue to learn.

Families will learn about opportunities for their children in tech and how to help them succeed. Volunteers will network and learn from industry pros. Transplanted engineers will get a chance to work in the community their companies are surrounded by.

Consider partnering with us by sending workshop helpers, swag bags, or making a donation to ensure this event is an unforgettable moment in our children’s’ lives.
