Saturday, October 6th - 11am to 2pm at Daybreak Star
Join us for SpiritWalk: Walk for Native Health on Saturday, October 6th at Daybreak Star Cultural Center as we walk/run together to raise awareness and funds for Native health. Since 1995, Seattle Indian Health Board has hosted SpiritWalk in a celebration of our community and partners.
SpiritWalk is a 5K fun run open to all who are interested in the health and wellness of Native people. This casual community event will traverse the beautiful trails of Discovery Park. We invite participants of all experiences to come join us, though the event will not feature official splits or results (so bring a watch to clock your PR).
While SpiritWalk has always been a casual community event, we are looking at future SpiritWalk events to feature courses and competition for more avid runners.
The walk/run will start and finish at Daybreak Star Cultural Center and the event will also feature vendors, prizes, and free food for participants. Check-in will begin at 11:00 a.m., and the walk/run will begin at 11:30 a.m.
Registration is $20 per person. Each registered walker receives a complimentary SpiritWalk event shirt.
