Cystic Fibrosis is a progressive, life-shortening disease that affects the respiratory and digestive systems, making it increasingly hard to breathe as the disease progresses.  There are many parallels between training for and running a road race and living with a chronic, unrelenting, drags-you-down, never-ending disease like cystic fibrosis. It is truly a marathon disease!
