RUHU Village of Hope Clinic
The Village of Hope is family. Set in a rural community outside of Kampala, the Village of Hope was started by Raising Up Hope in Uganda to provide housing, job training, and rehabilitation for young men who are transitioning from life on the streets of Kampala. Foundational to the success of the Village of Hope is the positive impact it is having on the surrounding community. A new well, church, and agricultural programs are already benefiting the community members. In 2017, a plan was hatched to begin fundraising for a new clinic at the Village of Hope which will support the kids and the surrounding community. Access to medical care is extremely limited in Bujuuko, the area surrounding the Village of Hope. Through partnerships with medical professionals in America and New Zealand, as of December 2018, RUHU now has a fully functional clinic that will literally save lives and provide much needed medical care. In order to continue the success of this clinic, moderate monthly support will be needed to sustain the trained medical staff and medications. Please consider making a contribution today. All gifts are tax deductible and will go directly to funding this critical work.
