Stream Advocacy Workshop at Powder Valley

Do you want to learn more about how to be an advocate for Missouri streams? Attend the Stream Advocacy Workshop at Powder Valley Nature Center on Saturday, January 26, 2019, hosted by the River des Peres Watershed Coalition. Learn to be an advocate for healthy streams, both locally and at the state and national levels. Speakers at this workshop include Mayor Gerry Welch of Webster Groves; Don Corrigan, professor of journalism and editor-in-chief of the Times newspapers; and Bob Menees, Attorney at Great Rivers Environmental Law Center. Opportunities to practice advocacy communications are included as part of the program.
