This camp is designed for ages 8-13; ages 6-7 are welcome to join and are encouraged to sign up for half-days.
Come and join us for another fun-filled week of art camp! Art creations will be different from the previous week to accommodate campers wanting to sign up for both weeks. Campers will paint and draw in the garden as well as learn to use mixed-media to create unique garden creations to display in their own gardens at home. There will be two off-site field trips to nearby Campbell Creek. Students need to be able to walk/hike at least 2 miles. All camps take place in our unique garden classroom and on 110 acres of natural Boreal Forest! Expert staff lead campers through fun, hands-on, science-based environmental education activities.
All camp materials are provided as well as weekly take-home projects. Our camps are held outside rain or shine in our tent covered outdoor garden classroom. Campers staying the full day or enrolled in our morning session should pack a lunch and snacks for each day. Campers joining us for the second half of the day are welcome to join us for lunch from 12:00-12:30 and should also pack snacks. All campers need to bring extra clothing layers, water bottle, hat, sunscreen, bug spray, closed-toed shoes (no sandals), and a backpack. Please leave all toys and electronics at home.
