This camp is designed for ages 8-13 (students will be writing and journaling daily as well as using knives and cooking over a hot burner).
Cooking camp continues for another week! Students will learn how to prepare and cook with fresh vegetables and herbs from the Garden. Each day campers will learn to make a healthy, plant-based snack, practice measuring ingredients, follow a recipe, and learn about key nutrients our bodies need. Come and explore the tasty side of plants. All camp
materials are provided as well as weekly take-home projects. Students will be creating their very own recipe booklet complete with daily taste tests and yummy recipes they can repeat and make for their own family!
Our camps are held outside rain or shine in
our tent covered outdoor garden classroom. Campers staying the full day or
enrolled in our morning session should pack a lunch and snacks for each day.
Campers joining us for the second half of the day are welcome to join us for
lunch from 12:00-12:30 and should also pack snacks. All campers need to bring
extra clothing layers, water bottle, hat, sunscreen, bug spray, closed-toed
shoes (no sandals), and a backpack. Please leave all toys and electronics at
