Get prepped for the Mardi Gras season by learning how to light-up your costume, bead-catcher, or article of clothing, and support girls' STEM education at the same time. Learn a little about electronics and circuitry, and build an LED circuit of your very own. Then, we'll assist you in hot-gluing your circuit and LEDs to whatever you bring to the workshop, or you can take it home and do that part on your own. We have a team of Electric Girls staff and girls who are ready to help you learn and build!
- up to 8 LEDs in one circuit
- each person can make 2 circuits (up to 16 LEDs)
-colors available: bright white, off white, red, green, yellow, blue (in any combination)
-all circuits turn on and off with a switch (but don't blink - that's a little more advanced)
-very lightweight battery pack and batteries included (2032 batteries, for those who are curious).
-bring something sturdy that the circuit can be hot-glued to. You will have flexibility in placing the lights.
All proceeds to go Electric Girls - a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing girls' confidence and capabilities by engaging them through STEM.
