Funding GAND Research
Did you know February 28 is Rare Disease Day? We in the GAND community are a part of that rare disease field, and until 2012 our diagnosis was still an unknown, unclassified disorder, as many still are today. Every day that we have a name for this condition is because of the dedication of researchers who continue to give us new insight and information to help our children growing with GAND.
Helping Hands for GAND is currently exploring the possibility of partially funding research involving mouse models of GAND. You have an exciting opportunity to help us raise more funds for important research studies like this one. We recently had a generous donor pledge a matching gift up to $30,000! We are challenging all of you to help us double that amount.
This will be easy and fun!
Begin your month-long campaign to raise $1,000 to help us match this generous donation and fund more research efforts! You can set a goal higher than $1,000, but we need at least 30 people to agree to help us match this generous gift.
Will you help us make a huge impact in GAND research?
