A Night of Hope - September 13, 2019
Please help us raise money to support research for metastatic breast cancer
A Night of Hope is an event to raise money to support research for metastatic breast cancer. Unfortunately, little money that is raised for breast cancer actually goes to research. Chandelle Pluff Albert, our daughter/mother/wife/sister/aunt and friend was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer (metastatic breast cancer) almost one year ago. A diagnosis of stage 0-3 breast cancer – you are curable. A stage 4 diagnosis - you are no longer curable but treatable. Research is what is needed to move stage 4 patients to curable. We need research for Chandelle and all the other people surviving with stage 4 breast cancer. Proceeds from the event will be donated to The Cancer Couch Foundation, a local Connecticut, privately funded, non-profit organization. The Cancer Couch Foundation, has helped put over 2 million dollars into metastatic breast cancer research to date. Donations and event proceeds go directly to metastatic breast cancer research at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Evening will include buffet, cash bar, silent auction, door prizes, DJ, live band and more!
Cocktail attire requested.
