Catalyst Foundation’s Vietnam Culture Camp is carefully organized every year with the goal of developing greater cultural awareness through a variety of workshops and activities. The camp welcomes families predominately from across the US and Canada. Accomplishing several goals of creating a crucial support network for our families, Catalyst Foundation’s Vietnam Culture Camp also strives to ensure that the children in our community are proud of their identity and heritage. We try to inspire all to strengthen their own communities and to be a catalyst for HOPE.
The estimated budget for the Vietnam Culture Camp is $185,000. Participant fees only cover the venue fees. Our expenses include:
- Venue Fees - $150,000
- Speakers - $13,000
- Market Saigon - $6,500
- Supplies - $5,300
- Banh Mi & Snacks - $3,200
- Transportation - $2,800
- T-Shirts - $2,700
- Camp Scholarships - $2,500
The Vietnam Culture Camp is only one of only three camps in the world specific for families that have adopted children from Vietnam. With new attendees every year, Catalyst Foundation strives to provide the tools necessary to strengthen families.
Since 2001, the Vietnam Culture Camp has reached 2,554 unique families, 3,696 awesome children and 1,132 amazing counselors! In 17 years, this is our FIRST time that we are fundraising specifically for Vietnam Culture Camp. We are currently seeking donations and sponsorships so that we can meet our goal to keep Culture Camp going for as many more years as possible (and keep our participant fees low!)
Your DONATION is CRITICAL this year!!
