PI-TaP: Positively Impacting Teens and Parents
PI-TaP: Together, we change lives!
PI-TaP's mission is to fight poverty, prevent homelessness and displacement, and equip in-need individuals with transferable skills. We aim to provide mothers and teenage children with hands-on technical, job readiness, and soft skills so they can embark on fruitful and promising careers in technology-based fields. Specifically, we are currently training our participants in Salesforce, utilizing volunteers from the Trailblazer Community to co-teach a particular module or badge. We also teach Autodesk, Google, and Microsoft applications and software. We meet Monday and Saturday at the Roxbury Innovation Centers. PI-TaP is 9 months of academics and soft skills, with job placement support for 24 more months.
