Hike along the river to the beautiful Cornelius Falls.
Organized by FLFR and the B'hm Sierra Club.
About This Registration
Hike along the Locust Fork River to Cornelius Falls, the widest waterfalls on this river.
The hike involves some bushwhacking on this seldom used trail along the river, as well as some scrambling across steep rock. This is a moderate hike, but worth it. It is roughly an hour-long hike to the falls.
Some folks like to go slowly and talk wildflowers while others scoot ahead to get in more play time at the falls.
Enjoy eating your sack lunch and sunbathe (with sunscreen!) on the rocks overlooking the falls.
It’s a great time of year to play in the water, so bring water shoes and swimwear.
Rendezvous at Tonka Shell in Cleveland (Hwys 79 & 160) at 9:30 am. or directly at Martha & Stephen’s at 10 am.
We'll return to the cars about 2:30.
