Workshop- Botanical Sketchbooks
and keeping a botanical sketchbook is a delightful and pleasing occupation,
suitable to many ages, skill levels, and locations. This skill allows you to slow down, and really observe
plants in lovely locations. In this class, both mornings will be spent
learning the tools of the trade ( graphite, coloured pencil and pen), learning
how to do observational drawing, a bit of basic botany, and setting up your
sketch book. After lunch, we will work in the garden ( weather permitting)
learning to draw and record information about plants in a creative sketchbook style. Price includes all materials for the class as well as lunch for both days (bring your own breakfast and snacks if desired).
