Consider Sponsoring a Missionary
The following information outlines the different ministries a volunteer Missionary experiences during an Operation Save Mission Trip. Operation Save is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our ministry exists to reach the ends of the earth with the Gospel message. We do this by providing shelter, agriculture, vocation, evangelism and medical assistance to those in need.
Matthew: 25: 35-36 KJV reads; For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. This is what our missions trips are all about.
For I was an hungered … Operation Save’s Feeding Program is currently in fourteen schools and has served 3,000,000+ hot meals.
I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink … Operation Save’s Water Project has drilled over 250 new wells since 2015 and repaired over 2000 broken wells since 2010. This ministry has provided clean water to more than three million Malawians.
I was a stranger, and ye took me in … Operation Save helps to repair and replace roofing materials on huts and has also built homes, a shop, maize mill and a day care center. Since 2010, we conduct multiple Pastors Conferences annually and to date, over 2,500 pastors have attended. Our CEF Program (Children’s Evangelism Fellowship) has trained more than 10,000 children. Multiple mass crusades are held annually with attendance ranging from 800-4000 Malawian men, women and children. We have distributed thousands of salvations dolls and bracelets to thousands of children with love and a gospel presentation. Our trained Pastors use the Proclaimer Audio Bible, loud enough for 300 people to hear it at one time, in listening groups. Through the Jesus Film Project, we have been able to show The Jesus Film to thousands of Malawians.
Naked and ye clothed me … Operation Save has distributed hundreds of blankets to the elderly and because Malaria is the #1 killer in Malawi, mosquito nets are given to new mothers. Over the past three years, we have distributed over 30,000 pair of shoes. Individual foot washing takes place with every pair of shoes distributed.
I was sick and ye visited me … Operation Save purchases medicine and hires Malawian doctors and nurses to diagnose and prescribe prescription medicines to thousands of patients who suffer from different types of diseases at no charge, during our Mobile Medical Clinics. Minor medical and wound care is provided through our collection of over-the-counter type medicine distributed to those in need. Since 2010 Operation Save has provided over 8,000 pair of reading glasses during our Eye Glass Clinics. We distribute Care Packs, bibles, salvation dolls and bracelets to those in the hospital.
I was in prison, and ye came unto me … Operation SAVE has Prison Ministries both in US and Malawi. In the US we have a ministry at Lanesboro and Browns Creek. Globally, we visit prisons all throughout the North, South and Central Regions of Malawi, Africa.
