River 2 Ridge Disaster Resilience Group (R2RDR) is a non-profit organization made up of a volunteer committee of community partners including local businesses, non-profit organizations, churches and other religious organizations, economic development and emergency management.

 

Originally formed as the Long Term Flood Recovery Group – Region 1 to provide relief following the flooding of 2007, the group reconvened in the fall of 2018 to help their neighbors with unmet flood recovery needs.

 

The current committee is made up of representatives from American Red Cross, Couleecap, La Crosse Rotary, La Crosse County Emergency Management, Vernon County Economic Development & Tourism, Organic Valley, Westby Coon Prairie Lutheran Church, United Way, and several other local, regional, and national organizations.
