FINDING LOVE - NEW BEGINNINGS in the USA
All Donation will be in US dollars for this campaign

PACK dogs get a fresh start in San Francisco, California GOAL: To adopt PACK dogs to beautiful and loving families in the USA WHY: PACK has 390 rescued dogs. There is no demand yet in Taiwan for medium-sized Taiwanese dogs WHEN: Ongoing, until PACK reaches a level of sustainability and can continue rescues For all the PACK supporters who donated to Jack and Jill and Angel’s journey to their new forever homes, this shoutout goes to you. A resounding THANK YOU! Jack and Jill, the beloved Border Collie siblings, are finally in their forever homes. Angel, our three-legged mascot dog, is also enjoying her new space in the USA. Despite extensive efforts, PACK couldn’t find good homes for these sweet dogs in Taiwan, so we sent them to Californian where people really appreciate rescue dogs. In Taiwan, it is very difficult to adopt out shelter dogs. Everyone seems to want “purebreds.” Huskies, or short-legged Corgis, long-haired Chihuahuas and miniature Dachshunds. “Purebreds” are the companion animal of choice, and sadly, the local Taiwan dogs often get passed over for the more fashionable Pug accessory. At present, in Taiwan, PACK Sanctuary cares for 390 dogs and cats with just 7 staff on call each day. It’s a monumental task just providing basic care for the animals. PACK relies on donations to cover a $30,000 USD monthly overhead for food, medicine, specialized care, behavioral training, marketing costs, rent, and staff. Our care standards rate high compared to most shelters in Asia. Yet still, animals fade without ample exercise, attention, or other enrichment. PACK is literally bursting at the seams and strapped for cash. With domestic adoption rates so low, we are forced to seek overseas help for these wonderful dogs from countries that have more space and deeper human/animal bonds. Until the people of Taiwan realize that Taiwan dogs make great family additions, this is the best option for these neglected and rejected pups. This is where you come in: With your help, we can place these wonderful animals into terrific and loving homes. Preparations and transport costs for each animal are roughly $600 USD, and includes, airfare, medical checks, blood work, parasite control, grooming, training, new travel crates, leashes, and collars. Welcome to your new loving forever homes Jack and Jill and Angel. It has been a long time coming — our “Three Amigos”— have been through obedience school and home training and have now graduated to new lives with wonderful adoptive families in San Francisco. Their life goals, to run, play and cuddle with a dry roof, a warm bed, and homemade organic meals, are finally a reality. Please continue to support this fantastic campaign and give these dogs a new lease on life. It is critical that we give them a shot at happiness. This is an ongoing project and it’s not cheap. Each overseas adoption may cost us $600 USD. But each adoption saves a life and saves us overhead so we can sustain our operations. PLEASE MAKE A RECURRING DONATION NOW and share this message on your social media. Tim Gorski PACK Sanctuary CEO.
